Visit Laramie
Destination campaign for Visit Laramie
Project approach
Visit Laramie's winter campaign follows a Wyoming sled getaway and turns one activity into a broader invitation to experience the region. The brief required the scale of the landscape, the energy of the ride and the warmth of the human experience to work together inside a very short runtime.
I built the sequence around movement. Wide landscape shots create aspiration, action moments deliver momentum, and close reactions make the trip feel attainable rather than staged. Natural sound and a cool seasonal grade keep the environment present throughout.
The 34-second film has reached more than 96,000 YouTube views and remains part of Visit Laramie's official video library. It works because the destination is not explained at length. The audience is placed directly inside the experience.

Editorial decisions
Hook
Immediate movement and landscape scale establish the experience in the opening seconds.
Energy
Action and reaction shots alternate so speed never disconnects from the people.
Destination
The environment stays visible enough to make Laramie, not only the activity, memorable.
Challenge and solution
Travel content must inspire quickly without feeling like generic tourism advertising. With only 34 seconds available, every shot had to add either scale, momentum or emotional access. Repetition was removed aggressively, but the edit still leaves enough room for the landscape to register.
The strongest travel edits make the audience picture themselves inside the experience.
The final film turns a specific winter activity into a clear destination promise. Its reach demonstrates how a concise edit can make local experience feel immediately shareable.
